Solution 3: Downgrading the Plugin #
If none of the previous solutions fixed the problem, you can consider downgrading the plugin to a previous version. Follow the steps below to perform a rollback:
- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Navigate to the “Plugins” section.
- Locate our plugin in the list of installed plugins.
- Under our plugin’s action buttons (settings, deactivate, rollback, documentation), click on the “Rollback” button.
- You will be presented with a propmt that says “Are you sure you want to revert to the previous version of the plugin? (in case there is an issue)?”.
- Click “OK” to confirm the rollback.
- Wait for the rollback process to complete, and then test if the issue has been resolved.
Note: Rolling back to a previous version of the plugin may cause some features or improvements introduced in the latest version to be unavailable. Make sure to thoroughly test the plugin after the rollback to ensure compatibility and functionality.
